Amazon It List: Fall Edition

I woke up this morning to a crisp 52 degrees and you couldn't stop my happy dance if you tried! Even when the kids groaned as I asked them to change out of their summer shorts and into pants, I was glowing. Fall is my season (as short as it might be).

So as I giddily look at all the fun Fall things, I pulled together a new edition of the 'Amazon It List' and I'm drooling over all the textured and cozy goodness.

Check out the last Amazon It List (Summer edition) here.

Fall is not only my favorite time of year to get dressed, but also update my home decor with cozy accents and textures on textures! Here are some of my favorite Amazon picks in both categories!

Home:

Update your pillows with easy slip covers in rich colors and velvet textures. These velvet slip covers* are only $11 for two and come in many colors and several sizes!
*If you need a pillow insert, this one is only $9.

Add throws and blankets everywhere. Fold over the arms of your chairs and couches to keep them looking nice, and/or add a whicker basket (love this large weave one) of cozy knits next to your fire place. I want to dive face first into this shaggy, faux-fur blanket that is under $30, and the texture on this one (only $31, comes in tons of colors) is perfect for cooler months.

Table decor is probably the most fun thing to update! Think about items that can be used for serving food, but also look great when not in use. I'm obsessed with the long baguette wooden bowls. They are hard to find and can be pricey - but Amazon has an option that is the lowest cost I've seen (even adding in the $15 shipping price). There is also a shorter one avail for Prime shipping here.

You can make a case for candles all year around, but I especially love them (and certain scents) in the Fall/Winter, and I love the look of candle sticks. Candle sticks look great on a mantle and transition well into holiday season.

Fashion:

Snakeskin print is everywhere this season.  Definitely the hot trend to try, but I especially love snakeskin shoes to try the trend out.  These slides are under $40 (and usually $200!?!).

Leopard anything, but I'm totally digging this long sweater cardigan. This chunky version will totally be worn on repeat for casual weekends or slightly more polished evenings out. (Probably want to size up one size.)

Cropped pants (before it gets too cold) are the cutest way to transition from summer to fall. I have these ones in gray, but love olive colors for fall!  Also, give me yellow all year around (and wide leg pants). These are on my wish list.

Carry the velvet trend and seasonally perfect texture to your hair accessories. I love the mixture of light pink and velvet in this headband (comes in other colors, too).  I also love these velvet headbands with pearls adorned. Not a headband person? I also love these velvet scunchie bows!

Happy Shopping! xx
