Holiday Quality Time with Family & Games!

Thank you Goliath Games for sponsoring this post. Pick up your favorite game today to enjoy the holiday season and beyond!

I love this time of year because we get to be surrounded by so much family!  And this holiday season has been insanely warm - we actually have been spending a ton of time outside, which has been nice for the kids to be outside away from TV and other electronics that sometimes come with cooler weather... We celebrated both the holidays with family and the weather by getting together - and the kids had a whole night of games out on the patio with Goliath Games & Pressman Toys.

Goliath Games is the fourth-largest children's game manufacturer in North America, started in the Netherlands in 1980 and now sold around the world.  These were the perfect games for our crew of kids - they could play them very easily with each other and they provided a ton of laughs.

My favorite game for the kids to play was the Giggle Wiggle game which is a cute caterpillar with many hands. The kids race to the top by placing their colored marbles starting from the bottom row of his hands all the way up to the top as he wiggles to music. It really works on their hand-eye coordination as the caterpillar is constantly moving, and sometimes the marbles get knocked off, but if when they do… the kids would race to pick them back up and keep on going. The first player to get all their marbles on in a row WINS! This game works with two to four players, ages 4 and up.

I think the game the kids got the most kick out of was the Doggie Doo game - and actually the parents couldn't help be be amused, too!  It's basically as it sounds... you feed the dog, and and take turns squeezing the leash until it poops! If the dog poos on your turn, you cleaned up the doo and get a fart token. The player who has the most tokens at the end of the game wins!

Other fun games that we played include: Pop the Pig (Nora's favorite!), Catch the Fox and Shark Bite.  It was a blast to have all the games around the table, allowing groups of kids to be playing different games all at the same time, laughing and learning.
