Easy Home Decor Transition for Under $100

Patio season is over.  So, I'm making over my dining room table to get excited about eating inside again.  One of the best things about summer is eating outside, spending lots of time on the patio and grilling out.  But since those days are pretty much over for the time being (unless you are sitting around a fire pit with blankets making s'mores, in which case you should do that every night...), I wanted to give my indoor table (otherwise known as the dining room table...) a little refresh for the Fall/Winter.

Because my living room/dining room is bright yellow (!!), I tend to decorate with more neutral hues and therefore lean on textures, materials and patterns to make it feel more interesting. I was challenged by Ross Dress for Less to update my decor for the season for under $100.  Challenge accepted, and to be honest, it was pretty easy when shopping at Ross.  They have really great prices (across home, kids, shoes, accessories and clothing departments - in case you haven't checked them out yet).

With the help of a few new pieces from Ross, I simply transformed my bare and/or kid-stuff-smattered table into an inviting, cozy space that brings a bit of outdoor feel (lanterns, sticks!) inside.  I'd love to know what you think!

How are you making little (or big!) updates to your home decor or table-scapes for Fall/Winter/Holidays?

Thanks to Ross for partnering with me on this post! All opinions are my own.
