How to spend a fall day in Kansas City with your kids

Fall in Kansas City is the best time to come visit or get out and explore, in my option.  We have wonderful weather, vibrant foliage, and tons of fun annual events during this time. Liam loves to be outside and Nora seems to love the outdoors, too!  One of our favorite places to go is Loose Park just south of the Plaza.  It's Kanas City's version of NYC's Central Park.  Last weekend, I collected a few small picnic essentials and we headed there to meet friends and other babies to play on the playground, jump in leaves, visit the ducks, picnic and run free.  We could have stayed there all day... but, naps.

One thing Kansas City doesn't typically have going on in the fall is baseball... but this October we've been wearing a lot of blue due to our Kansas City Royals making it to the World Series!  Game 7 didn't end how we'd have wished, but what an AMAZING season - down to the wire in the last post-season game of the year.  Go Royals!

We love these blue, toddler versions of the popular Made in KC tees from Sandlot Goods (they run a bit small, so get size up - which then they can grow into anyways for longer wear-time!).  These are a wear anytime/all the time kinda shirt, but perfect for last weekend's mid-World Series madness.
