Easiest Jewelry DIY Ever

This is what happens when the husband takes me to the hardware store... I migrate to the aisles containing things we are not even there for and find random pieces I can use for DIY projects...

Take this plumbing coupling for example (I don't even know what this is really used for)...

I decided this would make a good necklace pendant.  I've been really into layering gold necklaces, and thought this would make the perfect addition.

All I did was use my left over chain from this DIY project, cut (with wire cutters) to desired length, added a clasp to the ends with Jump Rings and tada.... a brand new necklace for under $5.

This new DIY necklace layered with my Circle Eternity Necklace, worn with my Old Navy orange Fleece jacket (um, comfy), Old Navy black and white stripe tee and TJ Maxx Cynthia Rowley dress (stretched beyond recognition).  I last wore this dress 6 weeks ago... and here it is before I was pregnant.  It really has come along way!

...And speaking of gold necklaces great for layering... You still have time to enter my Lotus Flower Necklace Giveaway!
