For years I've been wanting to get into thrifting, and I've started slowly. My first big success was creating the desk chair for my guest bedroom that I had been looking all over for. I wanted a bright turquoise chair for my navy guest bedroom and couldn't find one anywhere...
Enter a hideous thrift store find:
$12.99 from the Salvation Army in Mission, KS
+ 1 can of Kiltz primer spray paint & 2 cans of Caribbean Blue spray paint
The final product? A chair I had wanted for less than $50:
