Favorite Wears: Beach/Pool Style

This year, I am rocking my last year (and the year before that) fav suits after not finding a new one that I loved. So, instead of a new suit, I've had a bit more fun updating my beach and pool style in the cover up and footwear area instead! ;)  My most favorite recent discovery? These adorable, summery and so very comfortable pull on sandals.
They're super comfortable because they're Crocs - something that brand has always been known for, but coming in new and fashionable styles, with designs and updated looks like these wasn't something I was aware they offered. And I'm so happy they do come in these cool new styles (I walked all around Omaha in another cute pair that was seriously like walking on a cloud).
I'm packing these cute 'Island Green Isabella Sandals' for my upcoming beach vacation and have been wearing them all summer long to the pool and other places - which swimsuits to sundresses!

Shoe of the Day: Spanish Sandals

The Spanish give us lots of good things (tapas, architecture, red tile roofs, Javier Bardem...) and only the latest on that list are these summer perfect, simply chic sandals (and from what I've heard, very comfortable). I have the above pair on order.

My Perfect Summer Outfit

Florals mixed with stripes is nothing new, but it's one of my favorite combos, especially during Spring  & Summer time. I feel like the black and natural stripes help edgify the ultra fem skirt for a nice mixture. This pleated and printed skirt also help (as best it can) bask my quickly growing baby bump (just as I recommended in yesterday's shopping tips for dressing for an early or post-parteum belly). Add a few summer accessories (the must-have panama hat, large sunnies and super comfy & versatile Salt Waters sandals) and this outfit could get me through anything Summer has to offer (except for the pool).

White Out

Ah, breaking out the Summer whites and it's not even June yet.  But this past weekend we spend a sunny morning at the zoo and this was the coolest thing I could think of. Plus, the vest felt pretty fitting for the zoo.  I'm so happy it's Panama Hat weather. I love this thing. Makes doing my hair much easier...as in, through those bangs into a quick braid and be done.

And if you can believe in, after a morning spent outside, with my toddler, at a zoo no-less. I managed to  stay stain free. I know, a true feet. Breezy Weekend Wear

Easy weekend wear on a warm Spring day, finally warm enough to wear (for a hot-second at least), what I'm deeming this season's Target "IT" sandal! I even walked to brunch in these and they are pretty comfortable! I love finding cute sandals to casually wear throughout the warm months.  Sandals + a breezy skirt or sundress is my go-too.
