I've mentioned before how very much I prefer holiday gift shopping online vs. braving the crowds (and weather). While totally avoiding getting out to shop this time of year is not what I mean, the bulk of my spending and time-saving does happen online. In partnership with Zappos, I was paired up with another blogger, Krystal of A Pinch of Lovely to exchange gifts, picking them out for one another just by getting to know each other via our blogs and social channels. It was actually really fun, and easier than I originally thought it would be since Zappos has so much to offer and great filters to get you to the right products fast. Bonus, I loved the gifts that I received!
One of the best things about Zappos is that they have the fastest, free shipping out there - always have. They also have an endless supply of products and brands via their site, which makes gifting for everyone on your list easy in so many ways. You can count on them to help you shop for everyone on your list fast, easy and with no hassle. Save the crowd-wrangling for dinners, happy hours, light-seeing and other festive outings, instead of dashing in and out of stores, waiting in lines, fighting for in-stock product... you get the picture.
So, the gifts! I received this Steve Madden reversible poncho and Hunter booties, shown in these photos, which I wore out to get coffee and visit with a friend on a cool, damp day. Additionally, I received a North Face ThermoBall scarf that I've already worn on my walks and jogs outside this time of year and something I never even knew I needed, which means it was the perfect gift, right?!
Curious what I gifted Krystal? I gave her this, this and this. A mix of fashion-forward and staple pieces for her to mix and match.
Have you ever thought of Zappos this time of year for gifts? It's ok if you haven't, but you totally should now! They have the same great brands and one of the biggest selections out there. If you need ideas, check out there gift guide, and happy shopping (where ever you do it at!)!
