Favorite Wears: Holiday White

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, it's time to get up the Christmas decorations!  We like to wait until after Thanksgiving so we can really enjoy each holiday.  I'm particularly excited this year because Liam is at the age where he is getting really excited about lights and all the holiday pieces he sees.  He knows there is something special about these things that only come around for a few weeks a year.  I also think he is going to be really helpful in the decorating process (good or bad).

I've been thinking about holiday traditions... I already have an idea for a Thanksgiving tradition I want to start next year.  But I am wanting special Christmas time traditions we can do as a family this year.  I'm not doing Elf of a Shelf (I'm just not interested), and know that at least one tradition will be about picking out toys and helping other families in need.  Growing up, I remember doing that with my family and I think it's really important to spread that experience to my kids, too.

Additionally, I want experiences we can have as a family every year - maybe something around seeing the lights, seeing a holiday movie or play together (when the kids are older), doing a craft or even something silly, like getting new coordinating PJs.  I need to figure out something quick. :)

What holiday traditions do you have?
