Shoe(s) of the Day: Ankle Baring Booties

No matter how cold it has been getting this winter, I'm still baring my ankles any chance I get. I love the look of a slightly cropped/ankle length pant with low booties, showing off a sliver of skin between the two.  Boots have been getting shorter and shorter over the last couple of years - I haven't even pull out my tall boots or worn them in over a year (besides my Sorels and Hunters for weather purposes).  it's been all booties, all the time over here.  Also, the great thing about ankle boots as you can wear them throughout more seasons - perfect for spring, too, with skirts/dresses!  Here are a few I'm really wanting... some really cheap, too!

{Outfit Details: Jacket - Target; Stripe Shirt - H&M (similar in short sleeves here, bow-collar here,), Scarf - Xmas Gift/Etsy; Bag - c/o Fossil; Booties - H&M on sale (similar)}

  1. I adore ankle boots and just bought a pair of the Petty booties in Putty, but it is too snowy and cold for them so far. Loving the silver versions above, cute!

  6. Nice. I've been on the hunt for another pair of "ankle-baring booties", so I'm happy to check out a few of your recommendations. Numbers 3 and 4 are my favorites!
