Tis the season to wear plaid while shopping & DIYing with Blog friends

Last week I went to a little DIY KC blogger gathering at Madewell!  My DIY skills are not nearly as impressive as my shopping skills are, but even I was able to embellish a little something something (you'll see tomorrow).  What you get to see today are a few pics of the store all done up with great outfit inspiration, what I wore (a Madewell dress, of course) and what I got!

And after hanging out in the beautifully decorated store with my blogger friends, I did manage to head home with a couple goodies (how could I resist a shopping discount...):
