Favorite Wears: Lace & a Tiger + a GIVEAWAY!

Today is not only a fun little outfit of lace and a fierce tiger pairing, but also a giveaway!  Tomorrow starts my birthday month, so I have a few givaways up my sleeve for you throughout...starting today! I recently (and finally) hit up the relatively new (to the Kansas City area) Ross Dress for Less retail store and picked up this awesome midi-lace skirt (perfect for my baby bump now and sans-bump later).  This is a fun piece to style and I love mixing the sweet lace with an edgy tee.
You never know what gem you're going to find at Ross, that's part of the fun.  But I not only found this skirt, but also a few little pink pops for the nursery revamp for the new baby (more on the nursery update later...when it's done).  I was also eying several pairs of shoes... and bags... and dresses. So you get the point, they have it all!

Favorite Wears: Camo & Stripes

See? I'm already off to incorporating those five trends I highlighted on Monday. This trend is most likely either a hit or a miss with you, and I get why some people probably avoid it - but I've been loving it since last winter... I can't help it!  I love patterns in general, and this is a good neutral-ish one to mix with other patterns... like stripes!  This season, I even got a new camo jacket in a bit deeper tones vs. my old one (now for sale for cheap on Poshmark) that is more of a faded look (last worn here).    What is your opinion on the camo trend and ideas on how to wear it?
Also, here sporting my new bag from the Phillip Lim for Target collection.  Really glad I picked this up! I love how big it is (aka, can hold all my junk AND my baby's stuff), plus looks sophisticated.

29 weeks along // good-bye ankles

Last week in my 20s (and this countdown is a lot more exciting than when I left the age of my 20s)!  This last week took my ankles, and my wedding rings.  Hello, swelling.  I am hoping some of this will recede, as this past weekend I was more than 6,500 above sea level in Steamboat Springs, CO for a beautiful wedding (more on that later this week).  You may have a seen a few pics from those happenings via Instagram. I highly recommend a visit to Steamboat. Ridiculous beauty. The thing I might hate most about being preggo is the swelling. I mean, I've already lost my midsection and waved good-bye to the majority of my clothing (during my most favorite season, might I add), but now to have trouble with my shoes?!  It's just unfair, really. ;) {Outfit for a day off work at home with my boy: Cardigan, T-Shirt, Leggings & Sneakers; Liam's T-Shirt, Pants - Old Navy (similar) & Sneakers - Hand Me Downs (similar)}
