KC Blogger Meet Up Event Success & Outfit

Recently, the Kansas City blogger meet up group has gone through a little facelift, and I'm excited to be a board member helping to shape it's new direction and uncover all the potential this group has!  It's a growing group of a wide variety of bloggers and influencers all living in the KC area, which is a super way to get to know other like-minded creatives.  We have quarterly, larger meet up events and are excited to sprinkle in smaller, more dedicated workshops that will vary in themes throughout the year!  If you are a blogger in the KC area and interested...learn more about membership here!  We'd love to have you.

Our first quarterly meet up event was this last Thursday and it couldn't have gone better!  A beautiful space, great variety of yummy food, giveaways, photo booth and the most important, 40-50 awesome attendees!  I had a blast getting to know a few new faces and seeing friends.  I hope those that came feel the same way and those that are bloggers in other cities are inspired to start their own group if one doesn't exist already!  It's such a fun way to connect with people offline.

{Outfit Details: I wore a breezy kimono from H&M (but I love this one and this one is a great neutral), old stripe tank (similar), my fav black pants, super worn in wedges from TopShop a couple years ago  (similar) and a necklace from Hello Cheeseburger}

Here are some photos and fun details from our event:

{We had TONS of awesome giveaways to hand out - which is so fun!  Big thank you to Tiny Prints ($100 site credit!), Maddy Nash (TWO gift cards to design/customize own bag), Parlor (free blow-out), Tulip (gift card), May Designs (credit to design own book), Amigoni wine (yum!) and flower arrangements by Emmy-Ray.

{Just SOME of the awesome KC bloggers at Thursday's event.}

{Pretty Erin!}

Huge, HUGE thank you to our meet up's sponsors:

Tiny Prints (who provided everyone with Thank You note cards like the one above - sooo cute & a giveaway), Emmy-Ray (gorgeous floral arrangements!), Amigoni Urban Winery (where the event took place and the wine was flowing...), Urban Table (super delish food - one of my fav local KC places!) and the aforementioned giveaway providers!

{If you are a brand who'd like to get involved, you can email me, Megan, here!}

And another thank you and big hug to everyone that came out!  We had a great turn out and loved getting to know some of you... look forward to meeting more KC bloggers next time!
