KCFW Fall 2013 Review

We're really overdue for Spring around here. I have almost forgot that it's March, feels more like January. But I was happy to revel in layers and dream of warmer clothing a bit longer while watching KCFW designers kick some butt.

Here are a few of my favorite looks from the Fashion Show I attended a couple weeks ago.  All photos by the crazy talented, Kris on InkStudiosThe first photo from Pink Sheep Heiress.

My favorite House of Cochon piece was this fringe necklace -- and the hair! Loved the big hair.

 Another talented jewelry designer, but very different from the last. I absolutely loved this all white styling to allow for the gold jewelry to pop and act as the art it is! Tracy McClain of Trajet makes pieces that transition to full torso jewelry to necklace.

 Emma Lammers owned the runway with super skilled structured pieces, and styled her models with SE14 custom made bags, like this amazing oversized clutch.

 Christian Michael (designer in right side photo and brand name) was an amazing closure with a fully thought through runway show experience - from the props (the gun is not loaded) to the details of the outfits. I only wish my husband dressed a little like this (sans gun).

 And of course, no KCFW is complete without a group of pretty cool blogging chics to attend with! {Sarah, Erin, Sandy, LaShonda, Kat, Emily & Elizabeth}

You can see what I wore to the event here. ;)
