The first time I went to New York as an adult (there was one time as a kid before), I was with my friends and we spent some time shopping (duh). One of my friends was in law school there at the time, and so took us to a bunch of places we'd never heard of coming from middle America. I remember one of those places being Century 21, what I later learned to be a NYC retail icon. And I remember walking in to find a massive selection of designer brands at more affordable prices. They have so many great, and unique things that I could never get in Kansas City.
I'm always on the hunt for more unique items that not everyone will have (though that's unavoidable for somethings). Even though I am in New York for work often now, I don't have time to shop and hit up the Century 21 in the flesh, but thankfully I've been reunited with the store via their site online.
I have rounded up some of my favorite items for Spring/Summer available on their site right now:
1. Graphic tees are perfect for casual weekends to athleisure looks, and I'm loving soft pink/peach hues for spring/summer, so this Lady from Mars tshirt is perfection.
2. The perfect little black dress for all your summer weddings - I am obsessed with the lace cape detail on this one!
3. I love Oxford shoes, and these light neutral ones would be perfect with spring/summer dresses, cropped pants and skirts.
4. Metallic skirts are so fun right now. I love this one in silver (also comes in rose), and could see it dressed up or down.
