Fav Wears: Walking Around Washington D.C.

I still have that post-vacation glow! And if you follow me on snapchat (ChasingDavies), you know it was a good one - busy, non-stop, but a good one. My husband had a work conference in Washington D.C., which happens to be one of my most favorite cities ever, so I happily tagged along. We went a couple of days early so that we could explore DC together with some of our good friends (who live there and were the best tour guides ever!!), and that's what we did.

Last Saturday, we walked all over Georgetown!  First we ate at the best brunch buffet ever - Fishers Farmers Bakers - located just off the water.  This place was a total experience and had ever kind of food or drink you could possibly desire. The restaurant and decor is completely unique and it was obvious by the crowds that this is a hot spot, so you totally need a reservation!

After an amazing and long brunch - we went for an amazing and long walk!  We shopped a bit - bought a few D.C. books for my littles back at home. We walked all the way to the west end of M street to check out the Exorcist steps (why not?!) and Georgetown University.

It was such a fun day - followed by a night out, which you can see some peeks into that on Instagram!

You've been introduced to Katie a few times before... she's one of my most dear friends, who lives in DC. I love to visit her and travel beyond. It was so amazing getting to spend so much time with her. Plus, I love her fashion sense and style.

This is Joe! He is Katie's boyfriend. He won the award for eating the most at the all your can eat buffet. I was impressed.  Katie and Joe are the best tour guides and sherpas I know.  I miss them already!

Stay tuned for more peeks into my long weekend away (including only 24 short hours in NYC!!).
