Sometimes when I'm in a super big hurry and don't have any outfits pre-pulled and styled, I grab for pieces all the same color and just mix up the texture, black is the easiest! This makes an outfit look super chic, but it's really quick and easy. Plus, it's easy to add a couple pops in complimentary hues. For this outfit, I wanted to layer on my faux-fur snood with coordinating earrings and then add a bright lip. It took me 15 minutes to get ready, but I felt very pulled together in this outfit.
And on another note, I've shied away from big earrings for awhile now (just breaking out the statement earring occasionally) for fear of the heavier varieties will stretch out my earlobe or sometimes, they're just uncomfortable. Anyways, after taking these Nickel & Suede leather tear-drop earrings for a ride, I'm BACK! You guys, it's like wearing nothing at all, but the beautiful leather and color options they have brighten up your face and add so much interest. I love them and I'm hooked...
