A Simple Morning

{Jeans - Old Navy; Necklace - J.Crew via Ebay ; Loafers - Steve Madden}

A simple outfit for a simple morning down in the West Bottoms of Kansas City, MO.

Liam and I met up a friend of mine a couple weekends ago to try a new(ish) restaurant, Genessee Royale, and hit up the couple of open Antique Shops. The time to really hit up this area is the first Friday of the month (TOMORROW), when ALL the Antique Shops are open, but be warned, it can be a bit crowded.  This particular morning, we had the area to ourselves it seemed as we pushed L around looking for interesting old things.

So if you are in the Kansas City area and in the market for interesting old things and looking for something to do this weekend, head down to the  West Bottoms!

Are you in to Antique shopping?  What are some of your past finds?

  3. Totally love your necklace, and your hair looks gorgeous! I'd never be able to achieve that style on my own, haha! I've actually never been antique shopping! There are so many great places near us, too.

  4. I absolutely love antique shopping. Sadly my husband doesn't have the patience for it, but luckily I have great girlfriends who love it too so we make it a go to activity.

  5. I love antique shopping! You have quite a bit of good antique stores in your area...When my (then) mother-in-law was still alive, she and I would go antiquing in the many shops in the towns surrounding KC. Love it....I really miss those times!
